I used form event handler for pictureBox .e.g pictureBoxViewedImage_MouseUp(),MouseDown() ,MouseMove().finally ,To accomplish the drawing at MouseUp()
by following snippet:

Graphics^ g= pictureBoxViewedImage->CreateGraphics();
Pen^ pen1 = gcnew Pen(Color::Blue, 2);
g->DrawLine(pen1, pt1, pt2);

I will try,but by now I draw shape by :

Graphics g= pictureBox->CreateGraphics();
g.DrawLine(...)
inside form's member function.
You said "i'm not draw on the PictureBox",what's meaning? what's the different with
Paint of pictureBox?

you may misunderstand the "save" I said. may it's my fault.I just want to take a snapshot of the picture-box client showing as a bmp or png.including both the background image and drawing shapes by myself.

I absolutely understand what you said.But along you way.I don't think the shapes I drawn and the background the bmp is already merged into one. You can take a look at the first reply from @d@ish

anther instance is snagit editor(hope you know that).After you open a image,you can draw any shape above it. you can select and remove the shape independent of the underneath image.That's what I want. I can store any info acquired for that by any Type.
any more hint ?

I think you're right. I just tried to changed "const char * lp = 'abc';" to "char * const lp = 'abc';" and I copy & paste same 2 instances into 2 different cpps.

The MSVC compiler(or link) didn't issue any problem.

I think the constant varible is just treated as the literal as you have said.

I totally understand what you are saying.
I really put "const char * lp = 'abc'" in a header and then included by different cpp files,leading same variable is defined in different compiler-unit.

But I just don't understand why "const int n = 1 " is OK ? any hint ?

no,I need the 2 IDE both.
the problem is when use Qmake tool to generate the vs project-file by .pro file,I want to generate the vs2008's project-file ,but always output the vs2003 version.

m_Imp is the pointer member of JString.it will Alloc on Heap in the constuctor of JString.
Now It just How to pass the outer JString format() "..." to inter m_Imp 's format().

The .bmp file is normally supported by RichEdit,but I need about 200+ bmp files.this type of file is 6-8 times bigger than png or gif,I don't need animation feature of gif,I just what static picture.

So I Need to load more smaller type file,eg:png or gif reside in Dll or Disk,I need load them and output in RichEdit2.0.

(Vs2008 MFC VC++)

I just want it look like the contents is really in a control of the dlg,It can scroll up and down(read-only),when I press a "Hide" Button on dlg,that can be hiden and restore.

I need one control that can display the Text string or images together(that can be have retreived from the disk)In a format:
"text Line 1"
[image 1]
[image 2]
"text Line 2"
[image 3]
So the comment to display is determined by user select and app's logic.Is not fixed.

One 1 line Text and a corresponding image.

I develop software based-AutoCAD,version from CAD2000-CAD2012,need vc6,vc7,vc,8,vc9,but usually I am accustomed to work with VC6, building other platform versions with corresponding vc version.
