This will not fire at page_load as to load your gridview the page_load event must be fired i.e.gv will display after page load.This ItemCommand will be fired on any operation done in GridView...
You can do one thing check for IsPagePostback and then call function in that blok...

you can set style attribute to all panel & set their visibility to hidden,and then make them visible in javascript for u refer same ex.at

hello Madhuri take <table id="tblRpt" runat="server" width="97%" height="10%" class="tblDisplay"></table> in .aspx page
and write above code on .aspx.cs page,u will get table with heading as Branch Code,Branch Name ..etc and then by iterating through rows of DT u will get data and display it lly..
