hello sir,
Nothing happening,over here.After executing or debugging the code,then if i click on the combobox then it is not retriving into combobox from SQL database column.How to achieve it.How to make it visible the dropdownlist or how to retrive.

I was using my way,but i made a slight change according to you,even though it is not retriving.

I created in windows application,one form in that i had created three labels (first,middle,last) & infront of that i created textboxes with Search button in bottom .And now i created in database three fields called first,middle,last also i gave values for those fields . what i need is wen i enter in "first" textbox and hit the button search,for the remaining textboxs like middle & last the data has to be retrived into it.Now its giving error saying cannot convert varchar to int.I had given datatype as for all the fields in database as "varchar(50)". This is the error Conversion failed when converting the varchar value 'f' to data type int..

And this the code:

This is the code ,but it is giving error in this line: "SqlDataReader rdr = cmd.ExecuteReader();" and the error is: "An expression of non-boolean type specified in a context where a condition is expected, near 'Name'."

U r exactly rite sir,even i wanted the same...But this link i got estardy itself...bt they are using the same table to display data in 2nd page also..Here i correctly i meantioned above that in 2nd page i hv to dispaly the data stored in Table2...And also i tryed the above link estardy iteslf...bt givng error to one property missing..Dont know why...I did exactly the same way as above...Is there any other solution..

But even though it is not displaying.

What has happened is am using the DropDownList14,so i changed every where.And also i had changed in method void Calender1_SelectionChanged.So after executing , "click me" is displayed in the DropDownList14,but after clicking that i didnt show anything i mean calender not showed..

I got the solution ,after using this method setAutoCreateRowSorter(true) in main program,we can make the the column in the ascending & descending order with there alphabets & with there rows ordered automatically.

OK thank u sir, i had gone to that link...it helped me,and sir in that two columns were there:property string and Value,in tht if i click Value its column is arranged in ascending order.But after clicking again the Value column it should arrange in the descending order,bt there it is not happening..


i want by clicking the same button both ascending & descending should happen.Sir if u got any idea about tht please share with me.

But the thing is our project mentor saying that in visual studio the option is there like without writing program for SQL, direct connection will be possible in VStudio,but why not possible in eclipse for Java.

If i get to know then i will surly display here,if u get to know any idea about this later,plz do replay to this question.
