I am more concern about how its stored in the database.

I tried to detach it but it cannot be detach because its currently in used.
I do not which program could prevent it from being detached.

thank for the response. However there is a slight problem.
the first score is not being added. For example if 3 is entered total= 0, next 4 is added total = 4 then 5 is added total = 9

As a record, to store a category and the score.
And later transfer all the categories and score to a database.

Also the same thing in chrome happens in Edge the validation error message is displayed and will not move even when a valid date is entered
