Hello

I have two keyboard wedge barcode scanners that are to be connected to a single PC and used in a simultaneous manner. Is there a way to identify the source of each input and have it linked to a certain text box? or have it saved in memory?

Any help is highly appreciated

thank you

Depends on the scanner: most keyboard wedge types emulate a keyboard when they scan a barcode, so you can't even tell if it was typed or came from the scanner. Your best bet is to talk to the manufacturer, but I suspect you are going to be disappointed.

Is there at least a way to differentiate them? I read somewhere that we can set the prechar or postchar value of each reader. But I couldnt figure out how to.

For that, you will have to look in the manual(s) or talk to the manufacturers - try their website(s)
Griff is right, I think this article may help you in some angle.
