How to get Data from Public IP

Hai All,
I am developing one application in VB.NET.
I need to get the data from Public IP and stored it into database.
How can i get the data.

Like this type of data has been coming from communication devices..

Is the public IP a WebService? Then call the WebService. Otherwise, we need a lot more information.

OK, but what is the question? No one is going to write your whole app for you.

Are you talking about, you want to recieve the data from a "IP", like a client/server? The word data covers a lot of stuff from newspapers to science to computers. Do you mean Binary Data, Text, etc.? Please provide more information so we can better help you.
