How to transfer files through Wifi In MFC
Posted

1 solution

You can either do it via Internet or LAN if access to it is provided via the WiFi router, but then the question is reduced to the use of a regular network, as it does not matter if you access is via WiFi or not. You might need an application which plays the role of a server. It could be FTP, HTTP, a custom network service, or something like that. You did not specify where you need to put your files.

Alternatively, you can configure an ad-hoc (peer) WiFi network. Please see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_ad_hoc_network[^],
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Set-up-a-computer-to-computer-ad-hoc-network[^],
http://bit.ly/13hipuG[^].

In all cases, it has nothing to do with MFC. You need to embrace the idea of separation of concerns.

What device? You need to have your PC also connected via WiFi.

Ad-hoc network or what? Hosted on what part? Shared files? What's the problem?
