Curiousity to know abt the working of facebook wall

Hi..

I am curious to know who does the Facebook wall works? Basically i want to understand how the wall gets dynamically updated with divisions added dynamically.

How has the wall been structured.I failed to understand the very fact that when a person posts something on his wall and i am friends with him, how does his posts are visible on my wall.And moreover how does a new division every time gets created dynamically.

this is something like web sockets,
you can go through signalR, newly included in asp.net by Microsoft
will help you understand all this
