I am trying to search "Database Mail" in sql server logs. But i dont find it. Kindly guide me.

I tried this...

Exec sp_configure 'show advanced options',1
go
Reconfigure with override
go
Exec sp_configure 'Database Mail XPs',1
go
Reconfigure with override

And then i tried to refresh the sql server log but i did not get that...

If i right click on sql server logs and click on view i get to see Database Mail(unchecked).But if i check and close but still the database mail node is not seen in sql server logs.

Solution 1

As far as I know, Database Mail is not a supported functionnality in express editions.

A non-express one ; but it won't be free, unfortunately.
