session expires before session timeout

i am storing user id in session after login and using that session in overall application..i have set s timeout=30 in web config file but on page where i am retrieving user id it is getting null before 30 min... why this happens... plz help...

Solution 1

You need to really debug and check the logs what's happening.

One of the reason could be that your Application Pool gets recycled or someone restarted the IIS.
