Don't do that

You shouldn't use client javascript to access databases for.........[^]

Also

Remember that ActiveX objects must(Which you are using to connect the DB by javascript):
1. Will only work in Internet Explorer.
2. Must be installed on EACH client's computer.
3. Must have the proper permissions for the browser to access them.

BTW you can use another way

Using PageMethods/AJAX[^]

Good answer, my 5.
As "shouldn't use client javascript to access databases" seemingly contradicts to "AJAX" I would comment on that. For example, like AJAX is is a robust exclusion from the first rule, or something, how do you think?
