IIS issue, page not found - 404 error

Hi, I am deploying my web application in iis 6.0 server, My issue is that after doing that if i browse for the start up page it is showing that file not found error -- 404 error.
I have even reset the iis and even uninstalled and installed again. But i could find no result.
Please any one help me what is the mistake and let me know the steps for doing this..

This simply means though the start page is there (assuming you are sure of it's presence), URL formed is incorrect and the url is trying to find it at other place which is not correct.

Open IIS, right click the Default/Start page and try to browse.

404 error simply means that the page does not exists at the location you are trying to find it. It has nothing to do with IIS configuration or installation.
