I have developed POS web application.. My client asked the software in CD. how to restrict same .net software cd installing in other system.

You could always use some products intended to ensure your application is installed on a single computer provide it has web access... and that you validate the license regularily.

However, you have to ensure that the cost of protecting your software is justified by extra revenu. I thing that basic protection might often be adequate...

burning - Burn the CD or DVD for one time use - Super User[^]

its web application, Actually i hosted application in server.. They need not take a copy of application to another server.

Ask you customer politely not to distribute the project without your permission, write it in your license agreement.
