Welcome to the Lounge

For lazing about and discussing anything in a software developer's life that takes your fancy except programming questions.

Technical discussions are encouraged, but click here to ask your programming question.

The Lounge is rated PG. If you're about to post something you wouldn't want your kid sister to read then don't post it. No flame wars, no abusive conduct, no programming questions and please don't post ads.

OK, it's after midnight here and I should be fast asleep (Bob knows I'm slow when I'm awake) and I just noticed some questions being asked soon after related articles were the "Featured Article". Are there people seeing the titles of featured articles and then hurrying to Q&A to ask about the subject rather than actually reading the article? Are sock puppets trying to increase traffic?

I hope I'm wrong; that the questions were asked first and then the hamsters coughed up the articles, but it sure doesn't seem that way.
