His work defined my childhood.
A genius, an artist and a visionary.
Thanks Gerry, and goodbye.

Bought the kids one each for Christmas and one for the Missus for her birthday (Boxing Day) and they are using it to play games (free for the moment), get on the internet, email, Skype, Facebook and the like.
I've just had a look at my money box and see that I can afford one for myself. Before I get one, I thought I'd ask here for other uses I will find for it. Cause I'd only use the internet browsing out of that listed above and I ain't spending that kind of coin on something I have 5 or so other devices I can use use.
I reckon there'd have to be an SSH app as it's Android, so could axxess the Linux server, but have no other idea.
Also looking for a protective cover like those rubbery ones that slip onto the cack of your phone for protection. Found this one[^] that I can walk over to the shops and get and seems to be the official Nexus cover. Anything else people can offer as an alternative?

"I controlled my laughter and simple said "No,I am very busy,so I can't write any code for you". The moment they heard this all the smiling face turned into a sad looking face and one of them farted. So I had to leave the place as soon as possible."

I have a Nexus 7 (no 3G) and I use it mostly for couch-surfing the web, casual email and social networking, and to write on my blog (yes). Also, I read a lot of stuff with Google Reader and Currents.
Sometimes I also do basic photo editing with Aviary.
All in all, it's very handy and I use it a lot. Alas, I'm writing this from my desktop PC...
If you truly believe you need to pick a mobile phone that "says something" about your personality, don't bother. You don't have a personality. A mental illness, maybe, but not a personality. [Charlie Brooker]

When my wife got her new iPhone, I found a rubbery case like you mention for it on amazon for a paltry $10. Perhaps a similar case can be found on amazon where you are?
I found this one on Amazon Canada[^]. Perhaps you want something like this. Hopefully it is available down under as well.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

They are good for torrenting, you can get full uTorrent for Android, it works with magnet links and everything. Out of the box, they also play all sorts of video codecs (of course this has nothing to do with my previous comment about uTorrent, amjustsayin).
