It's pretty much all over now. I was hoping for an Irish win if only to keep the tournament alive. Going into the last ten minutes they never looked like scoring a try. Given they'd need three penalties to otherwise win looked equally unobtainable unless England's discipline went down the toilet which it never looked like doing. England needed just one more to put it beyond reach which they did.
I was hoping for an Italian win over Scotland but that was not to be. The only team that can spoil the inevitability of it all is Wales and they don't look up to the task either.
I'd like to see a two-tier system trialed for a couple of seasons and let in Romania, if only to give Italy a chance to do something positive.
