I would like to know if there is a framework that allows reverse ajax. In Java the framework DWR allows reverse ajax. For that, that´s not know what reverse ajax is an architecture that allows to refresh a web when there is a change on the server for interaction of another user.
I´m working with Iterop.Word library. The problem is that is very slow, that is the generation of a document takes a lot of time. How can i improve it? Is there any parameter to improve the generation?
I´ve got the following problem. I would like to have a Modal Window that show a progress bar. The principal window will call several threads that will be expecting a result. If the progress bar(will be a timeout) ends without result then a error will be shown.
The problem is that i´ve thought the following code:
public void aparecer()
int segundos = Convert.ToInt32(ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["ThreadTimeoutDisparo"]);
segundos /= 1000;
barraProgreso.Maximum = segundos;
for (int i = 0; i < segundos; i++)
int segundosRestantes = segundos - i;
lblSegundos.Text = segundosRestantes.ToString();
barraProgreso.Value = i;
if (salir) break; // Para que no haga falta abortar el hilo
// Cierro el formulario al final del tiempo de espera
This will be in the winform that represents the modal Window. This code will be code as a thread. The problem is that each called to this function provocate that the window cannot be moved or changed during the time is sleep. How can i avoid this problem?
