I'd like to setup a company intranet/wiki/document management(with free text search if possible), maybe blog system at my workplace. We will host it locally with whatever technology the system uses under IIS or whatever.
Will mainly use for centralising links to documents, showcase documentation around development processes, investment team processes, would like a firm directory (of users, photo, extn etc) as well.
Any suggestions on free software that will do this? I'd prefer if it was a c# open source implementation so I could alter or extend myself easily. Also if there is an addon/extension community with good volume supporting the system would be ideal.
Is writing your own web parts just the same or similar to traditional asp.net development? Also is their a community/directory of web parts that do things, like a forum, photo album, whatever, firm directory?
You must be a bit behind on your course work, this was asked many times a couple of weeks ago. Search here on CP and you should find some help, but why should anyone do your course work for you? Will you share your degree with those that do the work?
