Agree wholeheartedly for most writing*

Mostly spelling/ grammar mistakes don't matter - the meaning is unchanged Generally it's possible to remove the vowels and still be understood - some writing systems actually work like this. Hell, English had unstandardised spelling until relatively recently, and when it was standardised the got it wrong. Worse in the UK (not the US) we decided to balls it up to make it look like a romance language - hence we now write "music" instead of "musick" or "musicke" and even more oddly have a "u" in words like "colour". Personally, I'd rationalise the whole spelling system

Worse spelling/grammar Nazis actually detract from from debate, switching the focus from what (rarely does a mistake change the meaning) is being said to how it is being written. Pedestrian minds feeling superior by criticising others with one of the few sticks at their disposal
