That's another aspect: the Facade Pattern. Seems appropriate to distribute the "facade" class into some partial classes.
True, I use partial classes also with the Decorator Pattern, distinguishing between the "decorated" methods and those which are called without any changes.
There are some practical uses for partial classes.
