Seems like the intent is genuine, but it does also feel like stranger danger. I'll remove the link.

on the other hand...
this guy has already visited this forum at least 2 times before. I have no problem in recognise that some of his content is pretty interesting, but...
He packs a lot of links to his own blog in the text, packs the link to the blog in the caption of his example screenshots and similar things (wich for me makes it pretty obvious, that it is done on purpose).
Several times the links came after moderation in posterior edits, when people don't check everything in detail because "it was already published"
I have asked him to remove links in a couple of occasions. He did some changes to show "I am doing something" but left many others anyway, giving some excuses to not finish the edits.

I have informed the other editors to remove links from blog entries if they find them. That should clear some in the future.
I've emailed the author again. Let's see what happens.

None of this users answers are actual answers. Also answered a few of his own questions...
Found an answer to an old post where a user was complaining about their article being stolen and this guy in question says its not illegal to steal ones articles nor is it a crime...
