Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone here has some experience with raising a domain from the ground up with a steady organic-growth factor. I know that pumping out new content around captivating keyword clusters and proper on-page SEO are the usual advices - but how can one do that without an army of writers since AI content will get you penalized?
Is there are a way to avoid a declining "popularity" (I use Ahrefs and Google Analytics to track traffic) for sites built around tech/video games/movies niches? Right now, it seems that you can spend months building a website and if you miss your "shot" to flip it at the "goledn" opportunity - then off to the scrap pile it is?
So, if any forumite can share some actionable advice, I'm all ears

Hello, My name is Amber. I am currently building my business, PythonPower as a Freelance Consultant. I am trying to make a decision on a type of business license, for PythonPower. I was told that since I am freelancing, I should have an LLC for my business needs. I need to protect myself but I want to know if, getting an LLC, is the correct option for me as a freelancer. Would I be considered a small business? Is it why it would be best to get an LLC for my business?

I'd say yes, since LLC is the preferred frame used by most small business owners I know. It'll allow you to work as a business entity and not as a person, so clients will know how far your responsibility stretches. That doesn't mean you should get business insurance, though. Also, you can get a business credit card and build credit that way. Of course, getting an LLC is not a must for a freelancer, but it's among the optimal routes.

I've decided to stop pro-bono work (long story, don't ask) - and the customer is more than willing to entertain an annual support agreement.
Any advice for things I should include? All work is remote, phone calls, email, etc. On occasion, if travel is needed, then it's a separate quote. Projects that exceed a certain time amount are quoted separately as well.
I've been out on line, but google is not the google I used to use. All I get are hits to sign up for this service or that service.

I tried to call someone on the duo. the person I was calling his video get stuck all the time but I can hear the voice clearly.
The first time I think I am having issues with mobile data then I tried over wifi results are the same.
but I can use other video calling apps like messenger and WhatsApp but I can't use duo for video call.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for someone with a good amount of experience in the programming field who I can ask some questions. I am not a programmer myself, and I don't expect that I will be learning programming any time soon. The reason I am looking for someone with a range of experience is because I am forming a small business alongside some other people, and we need to prepare some job postings. As such, I am hoping to establish a dialogue with someone who I can talk to about what sort of things we would like our programmers to be able to accomplish, so that they can then make recommendations about what we would need to post in the required experience/education section of our job listings. I am not seeking applicants at this time, simply trying to find an advisor that can help us make a great job listing.

Maybe a good IT recruiter can help more? You will need one anyway, and he or she will be able to find many other specialist you'll need

I'd suspect that you may be getting ahead of yourself a little, possibly. You're talking about hiring a programmer; to me, that implies that you already have the business analyst, a systems designer, an interface designer, trainer, ops analyst, security specialist, capacity planner, tester and other roles all defined or filled...
Before assigning job titles, take a long look at what your business needs doing, when and for how long, then think about the budget you have, and whether it's best to do some of these tasks in-house or use external resources. (If all you need is a marketing website, you won't need a "programmer" - just use an external agency. It doesn't matter to you if there's one person fulfilling all these roles or twenty). What are your timescales? How fast will your business grow, and what are the drivers for expansion of IT capabilities?
It may well be that you actually do decide you need one person, to do all this stuff (including programming), - or perhaps even a team of programmers - but my gut instinct tells me you're not at that decision point yet.

In short; SQL Server is a complete database-server, capable of handling multiple clients. It is used to share data.
SQLite is a simple and quick local database, serving a single client, mostly used for local data-storage.

Hi,
I'm an experienced C# dev who wants to set up own business and I want to know what is the best route to getting clients.
I have a client at the moment and will finish project in about 5 weeks but I don't know where to source future clients (UK based preferably). There is another project coming up within the same company but I'm not counting my chickens (although I have been promised a good reference by current client/department).
EDIT: If you're wondering why I don't just get a job like everyone else? Well the reason is because I've been in hospital (psychiatric) twice and have two four year gaps in my CV and no one wants to take a chance on me (understandable? maybe).

That is a sales - as in how does one sell.
Best route is by word of mouth. They come to you.
Next one is networking. Your current client (the people there) put you in touch with someone else. Otherwise you need to use your own contacts.
After that you have the hard route - cold calling. Find prospects, try to get a meeting with them and convince them you can provide value for what you are selling.

Perhaps there is a government or charity outreach that can provide referrals specifically for someone in your type of position.
