It's been a huge and exhausting week. Our AppInnovation contest has moved on to Round 2, and in other news Apple released some updated hardware and Microsoft have released an Operating system or two. Windows 8, love it or confused by it, is out, Microsoft Surface is available, and today sees the release of Windows Phone 8. One UI to rule them all. Except on Windows 8 on Intel where you get Desktop as well. Google was planning on launching Android 4.2 and new hardware, but a small matter of a hurricane has put those plans on hold.

It's crazy times, I tell you. For my part I'm running back to Australia for a couple of weeks until the dust (or snow, as may be the case) settles.
