I am a computer engineer with excellent initiative and an ambition to achieve the best results in any project I am a part of. Although I work effectively as an individual, my background in project management make me a strong member or leader of any team; bringing a keen sense of humour, a patient and caring attitude and the ability to quickly empathise with other team members and their needs.

Computing has been my main passion since a very early age. I learnt to type on a keyboard before I learnt to write with a pen and I was programming even by the age of five, coding BASIC on an Acorn BBC. After eight years working in the computing industry, I joined university as a mature student to further my academic knowledge of the field I consider to be my vocation.

I am being published this year within the Proceedings for the 9th International Symposium on Communication Systems, Networks and Digital Signal Processing (CSNDSP), due to be held at Manchester Metropolitan University on July 23rd -25th 2014, with a peer reviewed paper entitled: CDN as a Service: A Distributed Model for Cloud Content Delivery.

My major strengths lie in Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Teaching, Research and Software Development. I wish to work on the very frontier of technological research and advancement.

I am predicted to graduate this academic year with a First Class degree, with accreditation from the IET. I wish to go on to study at post graduate level in a related field. I also wish to partake in a secondary postgraduate degree within Events Management, following on from my work organising music festivals.
