That's why I'm finding out if there's a reason for it before I start fighting with management, but it's probably going to be a futile fight.

Usually it's an ID element, so numbers like 1, 2, 3... 1,000,000, 1,000,001, often very large, but nothing SqlDecimal can't handle.

This method is only available in core, but how can I determine if hardware acceleration is working when this method is not available? I have some code and in both 4.5 and 4.8 frameworks it is much faster when compiling 64bit, so it probably uses hardware acceleration. But something more explicit would be useful. I'm currently only using the preprocessor code:
#if BUILD32
//use Framework function
#else
//use optimized hardware acclerated function
#endif

I'm trying to make an attribute that distinguishes between Serialization and Deserialization, as opposed to [JsonIgnore]. There are other ways to solve this than using an attribute, but again, constantly writing more code [JsonIgnoreSerialize]/[JsonIgnoreDeserialize] would be nicer.

I was wondering if it's possible to make a simple attribute that only has e.g. true/false information. After calling the constructor of the AAA class, go through all the properties using reflection and if it has the XXX attribute set and the value set to true, add another attribute to the properties such as [JsonIgnore]. This results in the [JsonIgnore] attribute, but it depends on what data the AAA class contains and the setting of the XXX attribute.

Okay. How about reflecting the AAA class to find the attribute XXX in the AAA constructor and then replacing it with another one? Because I would already have access to the instance data in the constructor.

I understand, but is there any way to get lists of all these files on run time?

But this is not adding a file, this is just referencing it for the view. There may be many files in the directory, but only some are referenced in the view. How does the view find out which file has been referenced and which has not? It probably has to have it written down somewhere, which is what I'm looking for.

If I add a new css file or something else, where does this information go? I mean into some object that has a list inside.

I wrote "this" object in cshtml, I mean if you set break point in cshtml file, when debugging set variable "this" (Watch window) which is an object AspNetCore._Views_Shared_Components_ViewName type. By collection I meant List, Array, or something where you can get a list of files at runtime and then list them in a view, for example. Files can be added from different places, from different directories, projects..., I would like a list of all the files the view has access to.

Copying files is of course a solution, but at least outside the mvc site, the library is something that contains shared data and other projects use that data. I'm just getting started with mvc, but even here there are reusable objects like partial views, or views components, so I thought it would be best to make a library for them. I'd also like to avoid having to maintain all the copies afterwards.
I've seen this link and many others, but I've never followed it, or it's not what I'm looking for. Often the problem is also that the link is older (almost 10 years here, for example) and a lot has changed since then. The link is only about sharing scripts, I would like to at least view components, scripts and css styles.

I fixed the link to the library that uses the constant.

I care about the constant what it means, or when it is defined. For example, if I want to compile in 64bit mode, I set the constant BIT64, but on what basis is HAS_CUSTOM_BLOCKS defined? Theoretically, this constant can have any definition, but I'm concerned with the context in which Microsoft developers use it in the NET framework or core library.

I have found a "solution", but I doubt its correctness. NET 4.7.2 works in my C# file (ModelViews), so what I need to get into the view I place here in a new class and only this new class I use in the view.
Thanks for the answer. If the conversion to NET Standard is successful, that will definitely be a better solution.

When I was looking for something, I found question and the top rated answer had a link to this project as an example. Addition, subtraction and multiplication is not a problem, just in dividing that one row. I thought the author was using some "standard" solution that someone else could explain, probably not.
I needed a solution quickly, so I solved it this way, rather than waiting to see if and when the author would respond. I figured that for people who have experience with this, it's a similarly simple question to asking how a for loop works and will lead to a quick solution. I don't want to ask anyone to read a lot of code, but the part I asked about is 30 short lines. When I look at the other answered questions, they are often longer.

I thought someone could look at the logic of the methods, they're not that long and it's not a long chain either, just division method calling another. Anyway, I thought it was quicker to ask than to try to contact the author of a several years old project. Alternatively, similar (better) examples would be useful, from which I can hopefully understand the logic.
