Thanks for your idea.
A fact I forgot to mention is that I have a pretty old veriosn of the sites that isn't missing any closing tags. I thought mabye to compare it to the current "broken" page via DOM tree inspector. Any other recommended similar tools?

Downloaded the trail version.

How do you recommend me to use it to my end?

Thanks. I know div sytax.
I guess this is my problem. But the code is so long that it will takes days to find that missing div.

I can copy-paste my markup into this tool ?

10x. I prefer hard copy as I read it while using the morning train.
I'm looking for a new book so the questions there are supposed to be up-to-date (relatively).
It's not for a specific interview, but I love to stay sharp at these questions.
I feel it opens my mind.

Thanks for the tip, but yet I'm looking for books names.
I do it in addition to reading other professional programming books.

BTW, how can I define and how do I use a comperator obj in c# (like in java)?
How can I apply LINQ to object to oreder according to that comperator?

Didn't mean to offend you. I should have used other words. sorry.

I have a dictionary of

<string, <decimal,list<mytype="">>>

So the right syntax would be:
"order by item.Value.decimalfield"

?
elad2109 23-Mar-11 16:57pm View

It's more complex object:

Pair<key,value> ==> <string, dataclass=""> ==> <string, <decimal,="" list...="">>

Can I still use LINQ ?
elad2109 23-Mar-11 16:54pm View

Can I write:

"order by item.Value.percent"

?
elad2109 23-Mar-11 16:53pm View

I saw this before. I prefer .net type. If I find no such I might use that. Thanks

My Values don't have any oridinal or comparer.

1) Generally - How do I implement it?

2) Specific - I want to oreder the Values by thier "Percent" field (decimal value). Is there any "clean" syntax to do so ?

What happens if the returned value from the dataReader.GetOrdinal("BOOL_FLAG") is a DBnull value ?
elad2109 23-Mar-11 15:31pm View

The probelm wasn't the casting but catching a null value.

I don't want depend on coulmn location. This is a bad practice.

found the answer:
dataReader.NextResult() brings you the next dataTable

thanks. i have a stored procedure that returns 3 tables.
Do you know how can I read these 3 tables using dataReader?

I have wrote the c# code I needed.
Does someone know of a free server where I can host my c# code behind to work all time? (it's just one small file).

10x, what c# classes should I use in order to acquire a certain string from a given url ? I have no clue what classes and namespace could help me out.

I think I can write c# program that does that. But few questions:
1) That means my program needs to be on all the time. I was thinking of an offline service that will monitor the website also when my PC is off.

2) Is there a way of achieving that with scripts, or will it be too complicated?

the problem is that
MethodAttributes Enumeration
contains no "webMethod" value.

I want to create a new webMethod at runTime.
I have a user that request via POST method. I want to take his request and under some condition I want to redirect its request to a new method (useing the same POST request)
elad2109 6-Mar-11 3:42am View

I'll try that out.
But before I do that, 2 questions:
1. can I define the new dynamic method as [WebMethod]?
2. can I Emit an instruction of putting a const value onto the stack (I want to call the statically define method with a const string as its arg0)?
elad2109 6-Mar-11 3:32am View

My only problem is how to emit the new method's body to call a statically defined method with 3 args. (no varargs method).

Thanks. I'll read it.

Regarding the "lock"
my q: is it realy needed? because the singleton is thread safe. no?
Or just its creation is thread safe?

"Not that I know of."

How can I make sure. I could find one evnironment list that documents all the attributes.

This errorlevel is considered to be a "DOS" environment variable...
