Hi All,
I need to enter decimal value in a textbox but only one decimal.
For eg: 55.3 (Valid)
55.5.5 (Invalid)
It should not accept second decimal.
Also, I need to validate for dash(-) ie it should not accept minus sign.
I want to use javascript for this.
Please help...

however whenever the update button is click this error appear:

Hi,
This is the situation...Now i have 2 requiredfield validators for 2 texboxes, one save button and one cancel button. When i click save button the 2 validators must be raised. When i click the cancel only one validator for one textbox should be raised. Plz help me, how is this possible....

For this u have to create 3 validators. Apply 2 validators for save button and 1 validator for cancel button.
Check the Validation Group property in Save button and its validators, Apply the same name for both.
Apply the different Validation Group name for cancel button.

Hi All
I am in a situation like.....i need transformation from aspx page to asp page. Means i have a dropdownlist i n my aspx page. when i select one option i need to transfer from aspx page to asp page. Is it possible to transfer? i kept both asp and aspx pages in same page.Bt after execution i am getting an error like

Ifyou cannot use QueryStrings (for security reasons?) then you should POST the data to your asp page.

I assume that you are using Datatable to bind your grid. Then add a datarow to the datatable and bind the grid again with the datatable. That will add a new row.

hi i am trying to make a website where by only the loged in user whose role is administrator can add new user to the website..
however i have trouble assigning the roles.. to the new user..
as now i have 2 option which i dont know how to inmpltement help me if you can pls:

let the user choice his/her role when registoring at the reistration page.
(if its even possible)
2#
create a page which let the administrator sets the role for the users.
so please could any one pls giv me advice, samples anything which can help me achieve my objective

The first one is not a good idea.
The administrator should give role for each new user.
When the administrator add new user, give an option for role selection.
