Which I think should be a separate category from "Online News Sites", since it aggregates many different sites vs. going to a specific news site.

Do you get good IT news from Google News? All I ever see there are mergers, acquisitions, privacy scares and big business news. Nothing really techy or useful.

It depends on what a person views as IT news. Another thread is commenting on how magazines are usually outdated, but still good for articles. These would be "techy or useful" to me. IT news which is too volatile for magazines would be found at your nearest RSS teat. It's all a form of news.

You get all types of news online. Magazines are out of date 5 minutes after being printed and then they can't change.

Mainly, the news comes from Blogs via RSS feeds. Although I still pick up a lot of interesting bits from various message-boards.
