I will come to that, but I want to under stand why in the first place you have posted a quote like this:
Quote: vote for an article and not for an API collage
with 'Please' as subject !!! or is this simply a random quote which you wanted to post
Do you believe that a nice article (posted here for voting) is being neglected?
And hope this time you got what I mean.

I was referring to the TCHAR article which seems to have the most votes and little or no value, when other articles contains more value and personal contribution, not MSDN collages. Is this clear now?

Haa..this time you have spilled out what you want to say rather than beating in the bush. I appreciate for that (and hope this is allowed in CP).
My +5.
But let's dont make the mistake of taking the CP members as immature or incapable in matters like these. Each have their own taste buds and let's not enforce our upon them.
When an article is picked for voting that itself shows that many are interested in that earlier and now it is just competing among the other best. Even if it comes last here, it is still good, as it came upto this level.
Saying it as trivial is obnoxious
My -5 for this.
So I am neutral to what you expressed.
Let's not flare a fire here.
Hope the best article wins

I'm not beating the bush. Nor stating an opinion, but the fact the article on position 1 as votes is one of the weakest. Judge this by *contribution*, not by interest.
We're not voting a soap opera as 10 out of 10 because one billion of housewives are looking to every day, do we?

An Advice then?
Quote: article on position 1 as votes is one of the weakest
For a 100 year veteran even a virgin looks unimpressive, while for a teen even a ....( well you have the imagination I guess ).
Just let's assume that there are more Beginners in CP and few Masters.
Quote: because one billion of housewives are looking to every day
they have the remote indeed then, let's respect it.
Peace.

Ok, let's leave it that way. In this note, we shouldn't have critics because everyone with a remote is a critic. And of course you can disagree with me, we're not living in North Korea. But this does not change the fact that an article describing how to use correctly TCHARs contains more value than Ten Fallacies of Good C Code simply because the latter contains personal contributions and adds value, simply said, shares experience of a veteran programmer. It's simply the nature of the articles that makes an good but just informative one weaker than the other.

This guy has just gone mad.
Yes, 10 fallacies is valuable, and i voted for that also.
But please do something productive!

Quote: Ten Fallacies of Good C Code
Yes, this is interesting and only a veteran can write or appreciate the stuff like this - even though I wont agree with few fallacies mentioned.
