I know that it embed itself into siemense PLCs when someone from an infected computer programs it and it causes some random malfunctions to attack target industries.

That's convincing but can i know the infection method or pattern that stuxnet used?

No this is a programming forum not a security forum.

Amir, security is part of programming, don't narrow it down. Anyway, not an excuse. Maybe, we have no or too few experts in STUXNET, but we won't look better by claiming this is a wrong forum :-). The forum is right, but we cannot answer all questions. Maybe one of us can answer this one.

I agree with you SA that security is an aspect of programming but stuxnet is something that is very complicated and needs a deep knowledge of virus structures. It was such that caused wonder of many virus specialist and some claimed that it is new generation of viruses. And the next virus in this category is DuQu which will act as a recon unit. I heard that It just collect data and try to spot where it is and sends data to a control center but how ? I don't know.
And about "Maybe, we have no or too few experts in STUXNET, but we won't look better by claiming this is a wrong forum" I agree with you, maybe creating special forums or making that category available through menu makes it more active here.

Back in February, Symantec released a whitepaper that gave quite a bit of detail about how Stuxnet worked. You can find that Stuxnet dossier here[^].
