Hi,
Your wordpad is good, But I expected more. In this there is no options for new,open and save... like that.

My apology to Bahee Basraa
If you have subclassed a CRichEditView
CRichEditCtrl& ctrl = GetRichEditCtrl();
ctrl.Copy();
if(ctrl.CanPaste(0))
ctrl.Paste();
if you have embeded a CRichEditCtrl (named MyRichEditCtrl) in a CView
MyRichEditCtrl.Copy();
if(MyRichEditCtrl.CanPaste(0))
MyRichEditCtrl.Paste();
above will be in two seperate functions like OnCopy & OnPaste etc;
Note: Updates to this project and much more will be made available at this location

Hi,
Please take a moment for more articles or updates!!!!!.
Best regards,
Francisco.

On 8-8-2002, this fine piece of article marksmanship reappeared, flagged as updated.
Besides the screenshot now being bigger (but no more legible) than before, I don't see any improvement whatsoever.
What's the secret story?

That it would have to learn of this? Who are you??

I would wager the person who wrote this learned a damn sight more about windows programming while doing it than you will ever know. Lucky for you there are wizards, I suppose.

You should write about your project a little more. Like what kind of problems you had (if any) and explain why you chose the project. Give some main points at least.
Don't worry about critics who don't give you some advice to work with. I noticed that at least you have the balls to write some articles. Not one of them has written anything.

I agree, I also did write an article which was rated around a 2.5, I was very proud of this, because it was my first article. It's rather easy for mister anonymous to say that it ain't good, but mister anonymous didn't even dare to write an article.
It should indeed be better if you did write some about the problems you've encountered etc..., but I didn't do it the first time either, so it's something you (and I) have to learn.
Thereby, I hate people with non-grounded criticism, and it's best to just ignore those pain-in-the-ass-people.

Hi,
When an article is place here, you need to assumes that exist risk for some critics (some times constructive), don't worry about it, every day we learn something , I'm still doing. The next time you can do it better!!!.

It would also be nice to have the balls to write some code. When people publish their work, they should have some respect to their potential readers. By uploading completely useless code people make it difficult to search for a good stuff.
I suggest the writer of this program to take a long break (several months at least), and to learn about object oriented programming, to read "Writing solid code" and something similar. Then come back and continue.
IMO it's wrong to encourage people to continue their work just because they have a good attitude (and yes, writing an article is a very good attitude).

If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.

Make children cry!?
OK the screenshot isn't pretty. just admit it, and get the point that the screenshot is worse than the article. -> He ment it as some screwed complimenting irony.
By the way: Good article.

This site is not only for people like you! When ANYONE first starts programming for Windows, an article like this would be greatly appreciated. When is 'Anonymous' going to post an article rather than complain about one? What about the other hecklers? Grow up!
