Hi all .
I insert a table in my form then I righ click on it and change it to "run as server"
then I put a textbox in it and name it txtuser.
when I run the program this error appears in the explorer ( the page i run) :
Server Error in '/TESTING' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Control 'txtuser' of type 'TextBox' must be placed inside a form tag with runat=server.
please help me

i think the problem is in HTML itself see the end tag of the form also
< asp:TextBox id="TextBox1" runat="server"> NO end tag for textbox <b<i>>No end tag for (Instead of )
OK next if then also preoblem is not solve give whole html file so that i can check it

Hi all,
In my appln' i want to play audioe/video file .
It is like the file is converted to binary format and saved in MSSQL 2005 database.
I saved file extension like(.mp3,.wav,.dat,.mpg) and file in binary form
any help is appreciatable
All I ever wanted is what others have....

You can specify the url of a web page or a http handler for the media player and then you put your code to read the media file from DB to send out to the client in the web page/handler.

I don't have any sample code right here in my hand, but you might want to search on the net or write your own as it's simple enough. Basically, you normally use the media file ending with .mp3, .wav ...., to feed the media player, but now you specify a web page, say download.aspx instead (perhaps along with the id of the media file in the query string). Then in the download.aspx file, you just write some code to query the selected media file contents from DB based on the id passed in the query string. You finally write out the binary data to the Response object and that's it.

My problem is "in asp.net,in calendar webcontrol,let us say for weekend days of everymonth should not be postback i.e u cannot perform click event on the weekend days or on particular date of particular month.

You can use the DayRender event of the control and check if the day(e.Day) is weekend or a particular day in a month.

if you are using .net 2.0,
You either use datareader and attach that with the dropdownlist (.net 1.1 and .net 2.0) OR create a acces datasource and attach it with the dropdown list...

Name is the test .. which will be displayed in the dropdown .. and id is the value which will be stroed internally...
