For example: <system.web> <authorization> <allow roles="administrators" /> <deny users="*" /> </authorization> </system.web> I know it allows only members with an administrators role, but what would happen if I were to change the * to a ? Lets say I have a backend admin section, so I put a web.config file in the /admin/ folder with the above configuration, so it doesn't matter what page is being opened, it will take you to a login screen if you are not in this role. But what if I have a .aspx page that I want to display to the user when he/she signs off, like a SignOff.aspx page. If this page signs of a user then it redirects back to the login page, with the return url pointing back to the Signoff.aspx page. I hope some one can help me in my confusuion. I have made some changes to one of the classes but I am getting a compile error saying the code I added is not a member of the class, I have been told this is due to the dll not being compiled.
