Looks like Australians have chosen Sri Lanka team to go into semis.
Bad for New Zealand.
|
|

It sucks to see Australia's tactics of how not to win the match... just giving catch practice. They cannot win in 29 overs for sure, why not still play for a win. They plan to get all out within 29 overs.

Bailey's comment in post match presentation: "Our goal was to do it in the 29 overs, but we never got going. There was no value in the result as such, semis was our main aim. ....."
Who expected this answer and attitude from Australian cricket?
I would call that negative sportsman spirit.

Who provides the fast and most reliable internet connection (> 4 MBPS)? Both wired and wireless?
|
|
|
|

|
I have Airtel wired 4 Mbps.
|
|
|
|

I have recently bought TATA Photon 3G. The speed is awesome. It's 7.2 Mbps. Speedtest.org showed me 5.2 Mbps download speed in the evening which I feel is good enough.
Your location is important as well.

Even I did not know that India is actually playing a tri-series in the West Indies now.
Here is the squad[^].
Seriously, I really think the players (and the viewers) deserve a break.

With the different time zones stretching across from WI in the West all the way to Aus in the East it is possible to have cricket 24 hrs a day 365 days a year. It feels like the governing bodies won't be happy untill this is acheived.

Its ugly.
I do like cricket, but this is too much.
No one can be following so much of it.

Hmmm. I was not aware either. Team selection news did that.

There are people who understand a LOT of languages (Real life languages). There are people willing to learn a lot and some are just happy knowing about 2. What category do you fall in? Why do you want to learn a new language? Is it for the way it is spoken that you are attracted to it's words?
I know about 4 languages (about 2 read and write, 1 half and 1 only spoken). I think I will be open to learning a new language.

I don't.
Nithin Sundar wrote: Is it for the way it is spoken that you are attracted to it's words?
In Bangalore, when people talk in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu... it sounds so greek that I have no clue whatsoever leading me get away from any attraction of the language.

I know 11 - Gujarati (mother tongue), Hindi (national language), English (world language)
I understand little bit of Marathi and German. May learn other language if it is compulsory.

I do want to learn additional languages.
I've picked up few words each in a number of languages, but somehow am not fluent enough to speak or use them.
I guess I just cannot learn any other languages until I practice them with those who are fluent in them.

I had German language in my course in 11th and 12th and I score badly. :P
The other day I was checking out Spanish due to it's popularity and I may learn it in the near future... depends on other priorities.

I'd like to learn Hindi for two reasons. Movies(Bollywood) & Communicate with people where I couldn't use either English or Tamil.
Somebody please suggest me right way to learn Hindi. I don't want read/write(optional), just want to speak.
Besides, I need to improve my English more.......... I'm planning to write novels in English(To reach more audiences).

No idea how a Third Umpire can give wrong decision... if there was 1% element of doubt, as per rules, benefit of doubt goes to batsman.
Clearly a no ball bowled by Broad to Williamson and it was not considered so.
One of the CricInfo comments: Everyone else in the world including Broad thought it was a front foot no-ball except for Steve Davis, which really mattered!!!" It was generous, Manic, though I think third umpires are loath to give those.
With Williamson striking the ball superbly, this decision was super crucial. It might had New Zealand's game... if Steve Davis would had given the correct decision.
Now, just to cover it up, I hope Aussies win tomorrow and NZ qualify.

He was just making sure that Australia still had a chance to qualify.
After all, Steve Davis is from Australia?
Honestly I think NZ and England are the best two teams in this group.
I only feel sad that West Indies got knocked out - they had a good team suited to these conditions.
But then, SA is also not bad.

For sure. But, given the RR difference, Aussies need to defeat SL's with a big margin to qualify. Thus I said, to keep things even, Aussies win today and NZ qualify.
Abhinav S wrote: After all, Steve Davis is from Australia?
Tells why so happened. Further, He is born in London or so.
Abhinav S wrote: Honestly I think NZ and England are the best two teams in this group.
Agree.

They lack consistent batsmen. SA are better then WI's in the conditions I think.
