Hi all,
I need to create a component which will be callable from a browser when it sees an object tag like the following
<object width="400" height="400" data="helloworld.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
or like

<object data="data/test.pdf" type="application/pdf" width="300" ;="" height="200" ;
="" <a="" href="data/test.pdf"> Test.pdf
<object>

My plugging will display an image file and give some response to user interactions like zoom-in, zoom-out, rotate etc.

I don't know start from where? I know c++ and c#. The library for the image processing that I need to use written with c++.
If any guru out there can guide me the road-map that I should follow, will be appreciated in a highly tonnage.

Thanks for your quick reply, Richard.

As far as my understanding from the link you sent, it is the way how you extend the behavior of ie browser.
It is possible to add a new toolbar to ie, for instance.
Or my understanding is not correct?

I need to write a something like an acrobat reader plug-in. See when your html page contains a pdf document, browser opens that
one in the acrobat reader plug-in. Then you can save it, zoom it, etc.

First question: Now, I have some resource-only dlls, I want to coonvert them to hex-format *.cpp file. And get resource from *.cpp file later. But, I don't know how to do that.

Second question: How can i enumerate all resources in a resource dll with FindResourceEx?

Any one can help me?

There are quite a few tools[^] available to extract resources in source format for you. You can use the EnumResourceTypes function[^], and its associated functions to access them from C/C++.

He can just open the dll or exe in VS as a file of 'resources' type and then pull the resources out as he sees fit.

One example of this Hdd I do not know myself until I write, I had to get help from a friend.
We use version 4.5 of the C Trbv friend please give this version of the program Hdd.

So you are simply wanting to convert numbers to text, like:

0 - zero
1 - one
2 - two
3 - three
4 - four
5 - five
6 - six
7 - seven
8 - eight
9 - nine

What part is troubling you?

I guess you are trying this competition[^]. It's a simple matter to create an array containing the names of the digits and the multiples of ten for each column. You then break up your number into its individual digits and use the digit as the index into your array. Why not give it some thought and try to see what you can come up with.

And I explained how to do this in my first answer. Create an array or list which contains the names of all numbers, and use the digits of the numbers to select them. Something like:

int day = currentDate.day;

Empty String

I need to read 512 bytes from a file and convert into a string. But first few bytes (10-15) are 0x0 and when I pass this buffer to string, I am getting empty string.
Buffer is having correct 512 bytes.

CStringA szMailContent(buffer);

Please help.

Both of these statements cannot be true. Either the buffer contains 512 characters or it contains something else, which may include some characters. Try showing how you read the buffer and what it contains when the read completes.

I think that is the key to your problem. The string of characters that will be placed into the szMailContent instance will consist of all characters in your buffer up until the first 0x0 is encountered. If you need your instance to be able to contain 0x0 characters, you will need to use some other class for that. Smile | :)
