As it is a LinkButton, you can specify the Oncommand like OnCommand="lnkClick" and in the code behind you can define the event
protected void lnkClick(object sender, CommandEventArgs e)
{
// your logic here
LinkButton lnkBut = (LinkButton)sender;
string str = lnkBut.Text;
}
This is untested. if you provide anything specific then I can help you..

i'm using the this expression ^(\w+\.\w+\.\w+) to find a match in string for any thing that looks like this example ns.something.com
but it doesn't match the following ns.some-thing.com
any help ...

Of course not, \w does not match -.
I recommend downloading Expresso and using it to build your regex. What do you want the rule to be, do you want to match - optionally in all strings ? Always in the middle one ?

Hmm, not brilliant at this, but have you tried:
^([-\w]+\.[-\w]+\.\w+)
I think [-\w]+ mean a series of any digits or hyphens. You may need to tweak it to prevent hyphens appearing at the start or the end of the word.

I have made an external tool for Visual Studio, and as commandline arguments i pass $(ProjectDir) and $(TargetPath), but the problem is that the second parameter is cut in half. I guess i have reached the maxlength of commandline args? Any ideas on how to go around it?

Hm thx, so i suppose the limitation is in Visual Studio then? Because my argument is cut at 255 i think, and it doesnt sound reasonable for .NET

One idea is to pass the name of a file which stores the required values instead of the values themselves and modify your code so that the first thing it does is to get the contents of the file.

Solved it by running my application as a post build event instead, no limitation there ^^

First, the title of your post should be more meaningful.
Secondly, you can get current date by DateTime.Now If you subtract date of birth from it, you will have an instance of TimeSpan class which represents the interval between two dates.

I am getting some errors while deploying this application using ClickOnce.I have used both MageUI.exe and ManifestManagerUtility to add files that clickonce is unable to refrence but still it does not work. You can find plenty of documentation on Google about the A* algorithm. Have you tried it?

Hi all,
I have an windows application which consumes a web service,
I have updated some method in the web service but i m not able to access that,
even after updating the web reference.
I also deleted the web reference and added it all over again, still no use.
The web method returns a datatable, but when i access it from my code, it gives an error saying that the method cannot implicitly convert the return type.
But when i access the web method from an Internet Explorer it returns a Datatable and executes very well.
Can anyone please look into this???

I loaded up a DataSet from an SQL table and was able to read it within the class in which I loaded the ds. However when I try to call the data from another class there is no data in the ds. I asked this a few days ago and the code was asked for so here it is.

I have 2 pieces of code one for datasets and the other a class in which I have a similar problem, I did not include all of the code but the general idea is there. I will place the second in a different thread. Note that some of the syntax comes from a program called OleDBProNet for loading data from a database though this should not matter see where I can read data in "***".

The array that you have declared in FillNameInfoArrayCS will be filled with data. If you declare another variable in another class, that variable will not automatically be filled with data also just because it happens to have the same name.
Experience is the sum of all the mistakes you have done.

The question is, if I fill the variable outside this class, how to insure the data is still available when calling from another class.

Wherever you keep the data, you need a reference to it in order to access it. Either a reference to the array or a reference to the object containing the array.
