No, seriously, I hope they find a solution. Although it reads a little weird that transmission time between Earth and the probe is about four to five hours, but still they were able the reestablish a connection within 90 minutes. How does this work? Sending a request and getting a response would take at least eight to ten hours, wouldn't it?

Along with throwing out ActiveX, VBScript, and IE8 quirks mode, Microsoft has decided that Silverlight has no place in its upcoming Edge browser. So... are you saying there won't be a new version of Silverlight?

It's weird that Netflix uses Silverlight...it's pestered me a couple of times to either install or upgrade it...what happens when I get Edge?...have to use Chrome or FireFox?

Or use IE 11. It will still be there for a while (I assume for the lifetime of Windows 10).
But I gather Netflix will be moving to pure HTML 5 in due course - I'm guessing sooner rather than later.

I booted sliverblight off my computers a year ago. I've yet to see a single instance of Error: Silverblight not installed since. OTOH every second website I visit requires me to click to play flash videos. It's annoying enough that I'm tempted to go back to my old policy of having flash autoplay but writing content blocking rules to remove video divs from all new sites to stop them from autoplaying.
