Since Windows 10 is supposed to be the "last" version of Windows, that suggests we're stuck with IE11 until Microsoft kills Windows or goes out of business.
Reading the article, I don't think they're expecting you to use IE11 as your default browser; you just can't have an older version of IE installed.

The release of Windows 10 pretty much told us what this article briefly touched on.
Yeah, they released the wrong people. Win10 is so unfinished it needs another year before it'll be "ready" to go prime time.
