We’re excited to share that Microsoft is joining industry partners as founding members of the Rust Foundation, a new independent organization established to steward the Rust programming language and ecosystem and support Rust’s maintainers. I don't think it's a good sign if your foundation is rusting, is it?

I don't know if stopped / will stop using it, but RUST is now independent of Mozilla and have created its own foundation / ONG or whatever thing is needed legally to stand alone.

well if they removed it entirely, how would you download Chrome or Firefox on your new machine?
(And if your answer involves typing something from the command line, how would your non-geek friends and family members do it?)
