Just switch hands.
Or go to your settings page and use the "Forums Q&A" tab.

I can switch hands twice. If you turn the other cheek twice.
[EDIT:] Ah OK thanks. I do this once every three years. It is painful every time.

How about adding something like this to your signature:
"Change this signature in the Forums and QA tab of your settings page."
Then you will know in three years.

For real fans of photography, fine.
But for me... with that price...
I prefer to have a trip and get memories instead of pictures.
I paid less than that for my 7 weeks Asia tour some years ago, and I was not traveling as a bag-packer

What is the advantage of less mirror ?
|
|
|
|
|
AFAIK, Less mechanical parts, mostly, so less vibrations.
I'd rather be phishing!

Simplified:
You use the same type of throughput as 'normal' digital cameras (i.e, not DSLR) - the image on the sensor shows on the screen (or in eyepiece) and when you take the shot, it is captured directly, as is. A bigger better sensor (the norm for point-and-shoots is 1/2.3" diameter and the usual DSLR bells and whistles that Japanese cannot help but put on everything (K.I.S.S. is not in their culture).
The 'mirror' versions are really digital knockoffs of the film-based cameras with a digital sensor instead of film. In these, during the period when the film was being exposed, the view of the scene disappeared - there was also the vibration of the mirror which could, under certain circumstances, be a concern.

The flip side of it is that running a digital display instead of using an optical view finder like in an SLR eats battery life faster.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

No argument there - but a little payback is you don't need to supply power to move the mirror. Probably not that consequential. If you're using the viewfinder, instead of the back screen, the power consumption shouldn't be bad for that little thing.
