Why not do a developer challenge that would be more practical? "Develop a CC system that prevents card theft"? Or better yet:
"In conjunction with NORAD, develop a cyber-attack monitoring system that automatically launches a small tactical nuke at the physical address of the attacker?"
Like what we really need is more "cutting edge" retail solutions that merely add further exposure to an already bad system. Cutting edge - yeah, riiight.

I haven't had coffee yet but sounds like a way to snag new ideas using cutting edge technology for very cheap.

Is there not a certain irony in holding a developer challenge at a physical location?
If it was something I could do from my house I might actually have been interested but I'm not going all the way to Toronto

For those of you who were using the template item Chrome Extension for CodeProject until it was broken by the changes made by Google, I have now updated this to V2.
You can read about the changes in the article which has also been update and there is the link to the Chrome Webstore.
Google Chrome Extension - CodeProject Template Items[^]
Chrome Webstore- CodeProject Template Items[^]
The extension is active in the webstore, but just doesn't show up in the search query yet (as it has just been published), but the link is active.
Sorry for the delay in updating, but things like CCTV systems and Lightning detectors go in the way!

Yeh, they are expecting the next batch in a couple of months. They are also going to be prioritising to areas which are currently lacking detectors. The best thing to do is register your interest every month via the website and also keep an eye on their forums.

It makes me wonder at how good of an education you can get from a University that belongs to a conference which has fourteen teams but is called the Big 10.
Then they go and put a big zero in the middle of their football field.
By-the-way, it is American football not what the rest of the world calls football.
|
|
|
|
|
Actually, there are 28 eight teams, 1 wimmin's and 1 men's for each institution.
Also, if you are using your hands, it isn't football, unless you are the keeper or Maradonna.

0) Did you not see the joke icon?
1) Yes I should of said "schools"
2) There are many more teams per school as you have every sport from archery to volleyball.
As to football, I did not name it. However, I did point out obliquely that most of the world uses the term football to mean a game played with foot to ball.
|
|
|
|
|

Must be a nation wide problem. The big 12 only has 10 schools. Maybe they plan to keep rearranging the conferences until they land on the right number.

It's called football because it's a game of inches.

Actually, you miss the real point:
Anyone who really gives a damn about Football (either definition) usually doesn't notice the problem anyway.
