I'm on the same page with that one ... BTW, I (unsurprisingly) get the same "NaN" behaviour on WP 8.1 as well as IE11 and Spartan on Windows 10 (in VM).

I found the problem. IE (also used on WP8) doesn't like the format of the end date that all of the other browsers seem to like. I was using this:
var enddate = new Date("Oct 1 2015 00:00:00 GMT-05:30");
and had to change it to this:
var enddate = new Date("Oct 1 2015 00:00:00 GMT-0530");
The way I found it was that the call to new Date() returned the timezone offset without a colon. Stupid IE....

More nit-picking:
<div class="col-lg-2 col-md-2 col-sm-2 col-xs-12">
Grid classes apply to devices with screen widths greater than or equal to the breakpoint sizes, and override grid classes targeted at smaller devices.
Therefore, e.g. applying any .col-md-* class to an element will not only affect its styling on medium devices but also on large devices if a .col-lg-* class is not present.
Since -lg- , -md- and -sm- are the same, you could just use:
<div class="col-sm-2 col-xs-12">
You could also drop the col-xs-12 as width:100% is the default for a <div> .
$.backstretch(["../../Images/underconstruction_01.jpg"
The document is in the root of the site, so it doesn't make any sense to navigate to the grandparent directory. Either "Images/... or "/Images/..." would make more sense.

Function naming? Without looking at the definition, what does that function do?

Deadly?, when was the last time you were bitten by a non-deadly werewolf?

At approximately 1.5 minutes per diskette, installation should take no longer than 3 days (assuming no time off for toilet breaks, food, sleep, or treatment for RSI). Add to that the time required to resurrect your 3".5 drive, and you're looking at a loooong stretch.
Good thinking, Microsoft!
