I'm so sorry to hear that.
There are support groups that can help you kick the evil stuff.
You looking for sympathy?
You'll find it in the dictionary, between sympathomimetic and sympatric

You are right. CP is the root cause of all the evil in the world.

Ironically, Marmite is all I can find where I live. So I can't compare it to . I don't see why people hate it, it's not bad. If I ate bread I could totally see spreading it on some toast and chowing down.

You should try to brew some beer
At the end of fermentation, yeast is just leftover.

Where are you getting it from?
I import my stash each time I go home, but supplies dwindle and nerves get frayed.

Is that a Marmite jar, or Colman's Mustard?
If it's Marmite, when did they become a boring shape?

It's a Vegemite jar. You can display it using :vegemite: in your posts.

Just saw in the news that there will be a voting on the 18th this month about the future of Scotland.
All you Scotlanders here - what would you say? Yes or no?
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

I am currently in the no side.
There are no real answers to any of the serious questions. Currency, Pensions, Health Service, Oil Revenue, council Tax, Localised Income Tax, Euro, Borders etc. etc. etc.
Currently, voting is like asking someone to jump from a plane at 35000 feet, If you select yes, you have no turning back and you will be given a backpack, now the backpack might or might not have a parachute in it, if it does, there is also no guarantee it will work.

It's a total waste of time and (British) money. If the Scottish Nationalists were serious they would have some credible answers to how they are actually going to manage a country that will have almost no revenue after independence. Unfortunately the argument is based on the premise that they are ruled by the (hated) English, and have no say in their own affairs, so it appeals to the "little Scotlander" mentality.

Didn't the English say the same thing about every country they occupied?

Technically, it was the British (not the English) that occupied a quarter of the world. The Scottish have played a very significant role in the British military.

Psst, it was a union not an invasion. Also, if anyone was the usurper, it was the Scots taking over the English crown and not the t'other way. To be fair the vote should be in England & Wales to leave Scotland.

I think the correct term you are looking for is purchase - at least of their parliament. Or bribe, bribe is closer.
You'll note that, practically as soon as the Crowns were unified, the King'o'Scotland moved south of the border to dryer and less deep-fried climes.

You should see the situation more from an open source point of view. If nobody has the guts you end up with giants producing sh*tty products. BTW they have Scots Whiskey what else do you need ?

I did here a good campaign slogan from a drunk Scotsman:
