2 cats (Birmans, half-brothers)
I keep about a dozen species of phasmid (Stick insect / walking stick) with around 250 - 300 individuals. Only a few of the larger species (Eurycnema goliath [^] are my favourite, then the good ol' Eurycantha calcarata [^]) but dozens of some of the smaller species. Have cut back considerably in recent years.
Wife keeps bees - up to 8 hives, so at peak times about 300,000 bees.

I have two cats:
Isobel who I did not name - you'll have to blame *his* previous person for that. He loves people, hates other animals. Can only eat really expensive food or he gets sick. It's all worth it, because he is a pretty awesome cat. Have you ever given someone a "raspberry?" - for you not in the know, it's where you put your lips on someone's belly and blow. Makes kids laugh uncontrollably. You can do that to this cat. He will let you do just about anything to him.
and Groucho Mugabe who I did name, as I always name my cats after tyrants or failed leaders, and this one caused a tiny adorable food crisis when we brought him home so it seemed fitting - also he's slightly cross eyed. He's my floofy little black cat and he only loves me. He likes to watch netflix or watch me play video games like Red Dead Redemption. He also has a favorite music video, but his taste is awful. (The music video is probably NSFW for some environments so i won't post it)

A house cat.
Plus two other neighbourhood cats which we feed.
One thing I've learnt in dealing with animals is patience. Whether it is eating food, or drinking water, or other biological things like urinating or defecating, an animal takes its own length of time. So, we have to learn to be patient, no scope for urgency.

One rescue dog that was owner surrendered for killing cats. (Four?) months later she found a five week old kitten at the side of the road. After a little drama for a few days, I've had them for over four years. If you want to see them playing here's a FB vid: Sophie and Kit Cat.

After 20 years of no pets (it is cruel to have a pet in an apartment) we now have 2 black labs - huge time wasters.

Yutaka Yamada - Glassy Sky (performed by Donna Burke)[^]
A cousin told me he's watching Tokyo Ghoul, some anime.
I don't know the show, but I knew this one song because YouTube played it in the past.
I remembered wanting to listen to it some more, but I forgot all about it.
So this was a nice reminder to look it up again and dang, how could I forget about this amazing song!?
The song doesn't sound like an anime soundtrack at all.
In fact, it doesn't even sound Japanese, with Donna Burke being an Australian singer.
The song's probably better for it

Very nice singing/song. Pretty!
For this week, not much new. Lunar Plane's 'Avengers' is a great piece of (Trance? BassBeat?). Orsen - Falling In, is a nice song for something quite repetitious. And one you may enjoy studying keyboard skills from on your own path to mastery: Final Fantasy XIII, performed by Pan Piano. I blame your SOTW entries for getting YouTube recommendations like that.

Orsen seems to be my thing ... thanks for bringing up this one
Wonderful vibe and energy, suddenly this makes me think about Dave Clarke, too ...
