OK - I'll give it a shot with a rye remark:

With the current pandemic that we are experiencing, I find it inconvenient to get the latest case updates regarding COVID-19 globally and locally here in MN where we currently live. Social media info are most of the time outdated, inaccurate and other bogus websites presenting nonsense information. So I have decided to create a simple web app that gives us the core information in a glance without having to lurk the internet that works in both mobile and web browsers. The data used in the app are based on the main sources of information regarding COVID cases: US COVID Tracking Project,JHU CSSE, ArcGIS and ESRI
The web app is a one stop site that covers US and Global case situation with Trend and Heat maps. I thought I'd share the app with you and hopefully you would find it helpful as well. Feel free to share it with your family and friends to keep everyone informed with the latest update on Corana virus.
I'll keep adding more info to it whenever time permits. Here's the link:

Great site.
One point - this message, and also the link of yours, will quickly get lost in this Lounge. Isn't there a 'more permanent' place to post this, so that we can refer to this in the days to come.

I clicked the plus button on the "Positve" panel several times, but it wouldn't let me add anyone

Oranssi Pazuzu - Uusi Teknokratia[^]
Hell yeah, one of my favorite bands of the past few years is releasing a new album!
And this is the first single they've released.
I'm not sure Oranssi Pazuzu was featured in the SOTW before, but I've mentioned them a few times.
Some months ago Waste Of Space Orchestra was featured and they have members of Oranssi Pazuzu.
Oranssi Pazuzu plays a psychedelic black metal that's unique and also quite hypnotic due to its repeating and droning style.
No easy listening and not for the faint of heart, but it's worth it!

I was going to say "That sounds like it's from the 90's", but it actually is
Great song.
A (now ex) co-worker gave me some Simple Minds CDs and New Gold Dream was one of them.
We exchanged music a lot back then.
For some reason I like their music when I listen to it, but I never put it on again...
I guess that sort of thing isn't really in my system

I know what you mean, except for their 'Belfast Child,' which I do sometimes purposefully play because I love the mood and musicality of it. There are only a handful of older songs that have that status. Off the top, Red Rider: Lunatic Fringe, Elvis: In The Ghetto, Rod Stewart: People Get Ready (even though I don't believe in the religion behind the song, the song is emotional perfection), A-Ha: Take On Me, Dire Straights: Industrial Disease, New Order: Blue Monday. (edit - I'd be surprised if you really haven't heard of this one)
That doesn't mean I don't have a bunch more songs I like in a 1000+ long playlist I listen to in random order. Just that those are the ones that touch my soul so much that I go back to them. Oh, and Celine Dion: Fly.
(edit - forgot about Queensryche: Silent Lucidity)
Best wishes,
David

Not surprising, since you like Death Metal and Rap a LOT more than I do.
