I do not get the reference to Greek mythology.
Or ... was it a real compliment on the Internet ? Then nevermind, never saw one before.

I know this is a joke but can i just say it's also funny that you bring up greek mythology while Balboos and I were talking about mythology on another thread.
When I was growin' up, I was the smartest kid I knew. Maybe that was just because I didn't know that many kids. All I know is now I feel the opposite.

Reminds me of my fame-whore cousin who is also a Centaur. Always wants to be the Centaur of attention.

My male greyhound's name is Bacchus, the Greek/Roman god of wine and fertility. My wife picked out the name before we met him.
The funny part is this - Bacchus doesn't bark, he only whines. I tell people he's the god of whine.

Especially since Mrs. Wife picked his name before we found about his broken barker.
Our female is named appropriately too: Hera, wife of Zeus. She's the alpha of the two, so Boss Lady it is.

Well you may want to check your compass because you are way off course.

This week's theme is really obvious. Okay, I'll try setting one tomorrow.
Charon. Satellite to Pluto, and the rower over the river Styx.

Correct. Good luck with tomorrow.
I agree, the whole moon theme does seem to limit the possibilities quite dramatically. I suppose I could have been more creative and used moon for the clue, rather than the answer though...

Thanks.
It was a good clue, just the relation with mythology stands out to me.

Yeah, seems quite a lot of space stuff takes it's name from Greek mythology.

It's just suspicious that several of Saturm's moons, like Thetys, Iapetus or Mimas have huge craters that make them look like the Death Star.

Where does silver figure in this ?

It's a double definition clue.
You have Charon the moon[^], and you have Charon the ferryman[^], who in Greek mythology would accept payment in return for passage for the dead across the river Styx. Some sources claim that this payment would be in the form of a silver coin (or two).

And, I did, but the flashbacks to memories of my ex-wife came howling back
Not saying I blame that on Kent, though.

For what exactly was she a reference? This could be material for my book 'Living a happy life by avoiding PTSD', Chapter 1, 'Women'.
