I knew him only as Mr Bean, and loved him... However his Maigret was even better...

I didn't saw those... And all those are comedians' work, but Maigret is anything but comedy...

Yes, I was surprised he was able to pull off a straight role. I kept expecting him to say "Wibble"[^].

Indeed - Both IMDB and Wikipedia has him as alive and kicking, and they're normally REALLY quick to update when a celebrity kicks the bucket.
However, I'm not sure if Peter was referring to the rumour or if it was merely a slight linguistic error in his OP?!?!?

The first season of Black Adder was a bit so-so but the last three seasons (and the specials) were all brilliant! Wibble!

Took a hell of an actor to play Bean, I'd like to see him in this other role.

Really? I think that Mr. Bean has been discriminated against all along: https://i.stack.imgur.com/oJsaW.jpg

I just got started on a list of small web applications that company policy has decided to do using Apex - Oracle's supposedly RAD environment.
It took a few days to get used to it but I am actually starting to enjoy it. It's different.
Anyone else done this? Comments, gotchas, etc.
Note: Don't tell me to use some other tool - I am stuck with this one and am making the best of it despite it's quirks.
