I just took a look at this website[^] for 'wild' (= not organized in a club) model pilots. They have advice for all kinds of problems around building and flying the models.
If you look at the lower starboard side of the page, you will find this solution to a problem.[^] While I have eliminated all possible sources of such a problem, I can quite well understand the bitter reality behind it.
I can well remember being given the coice between Herself and that computer. One could stay, the other had to go. Well, I still have the computer. How many here may have been driven into the arms of computers in a similar way? Should we put a similar little picture in Q&A ?

Am I looking at that picture wrong (2nd link) or what?  To me, it appears that the solution was sending her away, which led to some...ummm....excitement?

More like a constant data stream (the problem) which is solved by going out and finding some peace in flying the models (the solution).

Or she has implemented the usual strategies to get rid of it, like spreading the news that the computer is fat, of questionable morality and wears things that look like they were made from old curtains. Sooner or later this must have an effect on this blasted computer... or not.

About 20 years ago, I noticed some salt in the pepper of my beard, and looking at it today, it's salt at the front, and pepper at the sides!
There is some grey in my hair, but much, much more normal colour and my forehead isn't growing that fast - which does annoy my elder brother as his started accelerating in his twenties and readed the back of his neck by mid thirties.
I put it down to protecting my head from sunshine by cramming it into motorcycle helmets for decades ...

DNA dictates when your hair will go gray/white. Some experts are on the fence if stress expedites this action.
I started going gray/white on the sides of my head and beard when I was around 40 years old.

Going purely on the basis of people I know, I'm fairly convinced that men who go grey early are far less likely to go bald - not sure whether there's ever been any research to prove this or otherwise.
98.4% of statistics are made up on the spot.

What's left of the hair on my head is still dark (very few if any white hairs). My beard started going grey at about age 45.
I can't blame my hair loss on my kids; that happened well before they were born. The grey hairs in my beard, OTOH...

Somewhere, sometime, I noticed the first few of what is now a rampaging hoard.
What drew my attention all the more was that it has a strange kinky style to it, making random bends along its length. Then I knew, for better or worse, that I'd end up looking something like a cross between Mark Twain and Albert Einstein. I was even gifted a couple of tee-shirts with images of the latter. (Both the look and the shirt are remarkably appropriate).

I wish my hair & beard would hurry up and finish going grey.
I have what I can only describe as a go faster strip on each side of my head, from the front of my head that goes down to in front of my ears and follows the hair line to near my neck.
And recently in the last 2 years I have grey tufts on the corners of my beard on each side of the chin.
Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians.

Long ago. As long as you have lead in your pencil, silver in your beard doesn't matter.

Some of my hair has turned grey, but it is largely still my natural brownish colour.
My beard is starting to get more salt to it, though.
Looking at pictures from the past makes me more aware of it because I then see the contrast between then and now..
But, since I still have a full head of hair while my younger brother is a chrome dome, I'm good with it.

My hairline started receding the year I graduated from college, when I was 23. By the time I was 30, I had lost enough that I gave up and started buzzing off what was left. I'm 56 now, I've had the beard for about 3 years, and it's around 30% gray. It's a little difficult to tell since I'm blond.
The funny thing is that my little brother, who's 4 years younger than I am, has completely gray hair (even less than I have) and beard. It's probably the mileage rather than the years in his case  .
