At yeast that comment is proof you can rise to any occasion. In fact, I'd say you're on a roll.

By replacing your morning coffee with green tea you can lose up to 87% of what little joy you still have left in your life?

Replace with black tea and lose only 86%.

I drink black tea in the afternoons. So, I lose 0% there, since I enjoy it.
1 cup of coffee has approx. 97 mg of caffeine.
1 cup of black tea has approx. 47mg of caffeine.
1 cup of green tea has approx. 28mg of caffeine.

look it up on Google if it means that much to you (I'm sure it doesn't). That is where I got the info.
I assume they mean the standard unit of measurement for a "cup".

Maybe you just need more caffeine.

You hit on an important point.
For some reason, most coffee brewers define a cup as 4.5-6 oz based upon the brewing instructions - not a real 8oz cup. My guess as to this measure is that it includes head-space for milk/cream, etc. That eight-cup pot of coffee you brewed? Yeah, right.
Actually, if you ever look into rice cookers, they also use their own definition of a cup, which is a hair over 3/4 of a standard cup (some ancient Japanese standard measure).
On the other hand, not wishing to be left out, my standard cup of coffee is 16oz.

A "cup" of coffee is no damn good unless it holds at least half a liter!
