Thanks. That saves me from posting one of your "nothing" clues from earlier.

#define Pachythingy: Pachydermos in Greek means literally "having thick skin" (figuratively, it means "dull" or "stupid") Ah, yes;

I'd noticed recently that my ponytail was getting thinner - it's about half what it was. So a quick check, and yes - Covid-19 hasn't finished with us yet.
As you probably know, we had it back in April / May and it was a very, very nasty experience. And in the aftermath, I got mild Covid Eye (and it's still affecting my left eye to a small extent), Herself got Covid Toe and needed antibiotics / fungicides / blister cream, But now we're both going bald!
COVID-19 hair loss blamed on telogen effluvium: treatment, regrowth[^] It probably won't get it all, and it will - apparently - regrow, but it'll likely be a few years before the original "thickness" returns.
Is there any body system that this thing doesn't affect?
(I just checked, and ... basically, no: From ‘brain fog’ to heart damage, COVID-19’s lingering problems alarm scientists | Science | AAAS[^] )

yup, it (COVID-19) is a nasty SOB - as for hair, well, I stopped worrying about such many moons ago - my preferred look is 'billiard ball' .. if I get COVID-19 it will find something else I value and rob me of it, I'm sure
glad it hasn't robbed you of your sense of humour

Given the state of my hair, that's one COVID-19 side-effect I don't have to worry about.
Look on the bright side. If you're healthy enough to note minor details like the state of your hair, you can't be too ill.

Question:
Why should I hire a software engineer if I can just copy and paste code from the Internet (CP and other sites)?
Answer:
It is still worth the money. Because -
- Copying code from Internet - $ 0
- Knowing which code to copy from Internet - $ 100000 / year
- Understanding that copied code, and fixing it so that it works correctly, and passes all tests - $ 200000 / year
- Maintaining that code - $ how much?
